ASSING: CLAUDE (Uncle Chang/Akung) passed away peacefully on 8th June 2016 at the age of 85. Husband of Molly née Lee. Father of Anthony and Michelle. Father inlaw of Candice. Grandfather of Gabriel. Brother of Errol (Yeefun), Emid, Alfred (Grace), Horace (Philma). Deceased siblings- Magdalen, Octavia, Yvonne, Mildred, Carlton, Leonard and Lambert. Godfather of Sabrina and Celine.

Brother-in-law, Uncle and friend of many. Claude was a distinguished member of all the Masonic Orders in T&T and Grenada. He was a Grand Superintendent of the District Royal Arch Chapter of T&T, District Grand Prior for the Caribbean and Past Substitute District Grand Master. His mother Lodge was Lodge Caribbean Light.

The funeral service for the late Claude Assing will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday 13th June, 2016 at All Saints Anglican Church, Marli Street, Newtown. Interment at Mucurapo Cemetery. HANIEF GLORIA: We are deeply sorry that we announce the passing of our dear sister and aunt, Gloria Hanief on Sunday 12 June, 2016. She was the Daughter of the late Daniel and Katijah Hanief. She leaves to mourn her loving siblings, Rafinah (Betty), And Faiz (Trinidad); Roshan and Sharon (Shelburne, NS). Her Nieces and Nephews, Kathleen and Maurice (Trinidad); Wendy (Ontario) and Marlene (Sheburne, NS), Derek (Dubai), John (Holland and Hermine (Aruba). Her great nieces Shelley (Trinidad) and Charleen (Seattle). Cremation has taken place.

She moved gently in this world like rain on the sea a calming influence. CHARLES: Marjorie nee Grosvernor formely of Citrine Drive, Diamond Vale, Diego Maertin died peacefully at the Lodge Nursing Home on Thursday 9th June, 2016. She was the mother of Patricia St Clair- Charles deceased and grandmother of Darryl St Clair-Charles deceased.
